ABOUT STEVEN...

Drawing and painting has been something that I have always loved to do. Whether an image is an assertion of inner thoughts and feelings, or an effort to depict the beauty of nature, creating something that has not been created before can be very compelling and lots of fun!

Metanoia comes from the Greek word metanoein, which means to change one’s mind or have a transformative change of heart. When art inspires us to open our minds and hearts we enter a new world of enhanced senses.  Intricate designs and forms that may have been ignored before become apparent. A new observance of details comes into focus as we see things in a new and different light.

All of these things occur when we immerse ourselves in the process of creating a painting or drawing a picture, and in it I find great joy!
